Safety Value Statement
At TTR Substations, safety is a value that is ingrained in the way we conduct our business and live our lives. This philosophy has been implemented as our driving force.
The safety and welfare of TTR employees, subcontractors and the public come before anything else. All TTR personnel are held accountable for performing tasks in a safe, sustainable manner without exception.
All TTR employees — regardless of position or seniority — have the responsibility to suspend any operation they believe may present potential for harm. We refer to this as the “Stop Work Responsibility.”
If at any time an employee witnesses an unsafe work-site act or condition, or doesn’t understand the proper work procedure for their assigned task, that individual has the responsibility to stop work until the unsafe act or condition has been resolved, or until they fully understand the proper work procedure.
